Meet Van Allen
Van Allen graduated from college without fanfare, without honors, and without a clue. He finally landed a string of jobs from digging ditches, valet parking, waiting tables, to driving a school bus and everything in between. He earned his Grit and Determination Degree from the school of hard knocks but he never lost his burning desire to grow, develop and take his personal and professional life to the top. In 1999, Allen founded, Timeline Recruiting, a physician recruiting company. As President and C.E.O he built and led one of the largest physician recruiting companies in the country. Van’s incessant appetite to take calculated risks led to the industry’s Gold standard by implementing accountability and integrity through his Money Back Guarantee. In only 7 short years, Timeline Recruiting became the most sought after physician recruiting company and sold to the largest staffing company in the world. Allen truly started with nothing but an idea, a cocktail napkin and a bag of Wishes. He attributes all of his success to helping people get what they want out of life. If you are listening to Van for the first time you are almost certain to hear about one of his most passionate subjects , “The JizzleWizzle Effect.” His JizzleWizzle story, and how he believes this is the one principle that has taken his companies to greatness is an opportunity you don’t want to miss. it’s as simple as doing “The Little in the Middle”.

Van’s History
Van was born in Orange, Texas but grew up right across the state line in Lake Charles, Louisiana. After graduating from Southwestern University in 1987 he sold a variety of products and services. He sold everything from Frito-Lay products to working for ARA Cory selling coffee to door to door. Van recalls, there wasn’t much of a formal sales training program offered by companies back then, so you relied on tenacity and grit and developed your own processes. In 1993, he entered the field of physician recruitment where he experienced immediate success. He was promoted through the ranks at Merritt Hawkins and quickly figured out he had a knack for phone selling and convincing physicians to consider parts of the country they had never dreamt of.
In 1999, he started Timeline Recruiting. He introduced the Physician Recruiting world to a business model that contained a “money back guarantee” and in short order built a company to reckon with. When he sold Timeline Recruiting in 2006, they were in the top 3 retained physician recruiting companies in the country. Since selling Timeline, the company has continued to flourish and climb even higher mountains. Van says, “you can do it like everyone else is doing it. Find that unique factor about your product or service and ride it to the moon”.
Throughout his career, Van always had a burning passion and desire to share the secrets of his success and help others get to the top. He now spends his time speaking to audiences on a variety of subjects that range from “How to Create Your Own JizzleWizzle” to “How to Unseat the Incumbent”. Weather he is speaking to 35 or 3000 the audience walks away with the same experience. They always feel like spoke directly to their heart. He connects at all levels and because he doesn’t speak from a Theory position but rather from a position of “been there, done that”, people lock in and apply what he proposes.
Van can tailor a speech for your organization. First and foremost, he wants the presentation to be fun, entertaining, and educational. He will make sure the audience feels like they are a part of the presentation.

The next person you meet is part of the success you are about to realize. If you make your bus big enough for everyone to go to the top with you, then you will have all the success you want. If you spend your entire life helping people up the ladder of life, you will experience all the rewards life has for you. It’s not lonely at the top if you take enough people with you.
